Mont Ventoux

Near our hotel-restaurant

Gain some altitude with a visit to Mont Ventoux! Nicknamed "the Giant of Provence", "Bald Mountain" and "little Kilimanjaro", it is the highest point in the Vaucluse at 1912 m.

Its eternally snowy peak is visible from miles away and offers one of Europe's most sweeping views, overlooking the Rhone valley, the Baronnies, the Vaucluse plateau, the Alps, the Vercors, the Lure mountains, the Luberon, Sainte-Victoire, and more...

This legendary mountain, an emblem of Provence and its history, is also a highlight of the Tour de France. Every cyclist knows the three ways to climb it: Bédoin, the toughest climb, Malaucène to the north (30 minutes from the hotel) and Sault, the easiest climb, to the north.
